Wait a second...

Do M1's really demand that sort of money? I thought good ones only went for like 300-500k.

Well, the last one (actually road worthy) sold for 500K.. so, I guess it's NP.

ummm... not much of it left there is there..

Lets say I have waaaay to much money (I actually have none) what do you think the cost of making this thing whole again would be?

Yeah that would be my question considering the massive amount of frame damage

I'd say all in you'd have to be close to the million mark.. then the question would be, would a restored m1 be worth that much after a restoration of this magnitude?

as much as I am all about preserving car, there has to be line where cost does not equate value. I feel this one would be walking that line.

I wouldn't think that much. I'd probably put restoration costs in the 2-300k range. And if the best examples are around 500k it might just be worth it.

That said I'll stick to my M1 I'm forza horizon.

Seeing as the Ferrari F40 on Fast and Loud went for $740k at auction when it was completed, I would say that at $125k it is not a bad deal. Not a screaming deal, but not bad.

As my Wall St. friend would say, "it represents a good value to the customer with the right resources."
